We need your help!

Donations are essential to the success of our projects. Generous donations from individuals and community-based fundraising activities make it possible for us to continue and expand our programs.

$1500 will buy books for 300 school-age children
$1000 will support two parenting classes for 30 women
$500 will mail our newsletter to prisoners in six prisons
$250 will pay for travel to prisons and jails in Illinois
$100 will enable five women to participate in Storybook Project

In 2005 we doubled the number of programs in prisons and jails throughout the state of Illinois. We are developing new programs that assist the children of prisoners and are collaborating with more agencies than ever before. At the same time that our imaginations and passion for this work grows, the resources for funding from larger entities appear to be limited.

We are strongly urging new givers to give generously and current givers to increase their gift in 2006. Our programs reach so many for so little. Help us continue to reach out to those in isolation on the margins of our society.
